Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution
Develop and execute R&D projects in alignment with our R&D portfolio management, ensuring timely completion and meeting project milestones.
Project ManagementDevelop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans; perform risk analysis and monitor progress against project milestones and budgets.
Risk ManagementProactively identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with the implementation of new solutions, develop risk management plans, and strategies to respond to risks as they arise.
Project DeliveryDrive requirements analysis, pre-studies, solution development, and documentation of results in the projects.
Team CollaborationAs an R&D Project Manager, you will be part of the R&D Project Management Office, working collaboratively with the team to improve processes, quality, and individual development.
Requirements- Education
University degree (M.S.) in Mechanical engineering, Naval engineering, or similar, with a strong technical background within offshore renewables, oil & gas, or marine industries.
Experience5+ years of experience in technical project management within the offshore industries.
Technical KnowledgeSufficient knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to offshore applications.
Industry StandardsFamiliarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for offshore projects.
Leadership SkillsExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Project Management MethodologiesExperience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt approaches based on project requirements and constraints.
Problem-Solving SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions.
Global Team LeadershipAbility to lead geographically dispersed teams in a multi-site global environment.
Language SkillsFluency in English required.
