Senior Multidisciplinary Experimentalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Multidisciplinary Experimentalist to join our dynamic R&D team at NKT Cables-China. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and advancing our technology in the Medium and High Voltage sector.

• Spearhead technical projects and provide essential expertise in electrical engineering, material science, and high-voltage technology.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop R&D initiatives and provide consultancy services.
• Design and build electrical test circuits and perform experiments to improve measurement methods and predict electromagnetic phenomena.
• Contribute to the development of new monitoring solutions for quality control and improve comprehension of electrical phenomena in insulation systems.
• Communicate technical results effectively to stakeholders and provide consulting services to internal and external customers.

• Master of Science or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, High Voltage Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in R&D or similar roles.
• Proficient background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Material Science, and High-Voltage Technology.
• Effective communicator with the ability to create value for the business and customers.
• Proficiency in relevant simulation tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics, MATLAB, LabVIEW, PSpice, etc.
• Familiarity with multiple electrical insulation characterizations is advantageous.
• Fluent in English, with basic Swedish speaking knowledge is advantageous.
