The Nordic Business Development team covers Aberdeen's business in the Nordics, including Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. This team engages a diverse range of clients, bankers, and product providers to raise awareness of Aberdeen's investment capabilities and potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales processes by understanding client investment strategies and plans.
  • Stay updated on market developments in the Nordic region and share insights with the team.
  • Maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders within client portfolios, including liquid and illiquid assets.
  • Pursue new business opportunities in the markets and set up introduction meetings.
  • Promote Aberdeen as an Investment House by setting up meetings and supporting Fund Managers visiting the Nordics.
  • Raise assets and support new business initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Excellent working knowledge of investment matters and asset classes, including Fixed Income, Equities, Infrastructure, Private Debt, and Real Estate.
  • Candidate should be fluent in Swedish and English.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-drive and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Strong internal and external communication skills.
