This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing business opportunities in Sweden's renewable energy sector. This role involves market research, customer engagement, and partnership building to accelerate the development of energy storage and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) solutions.

This requires solid connections and a strong understanding of Sweden's renewable energy landscape, experience working with BESS asset owners, project developers, EPC/Installers, electricity retailers, and grid operators, as well as the ability to develop tailored proposals for customers.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities in the Swedish renewable energy sector, including energy storage projects and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) solutions.
  • Grasp business opportunities in the renewable energy BESS aggregation/optimization projects, as well as Commercial and Industrial (C&I) microgrid projects.
  • Engage potential customers, including BESS or C&I asset owners and residential customers, and develop tailored proposals.
  • Build partnerships with Project Developers, EPC/Installers, electricity retailers, and Grid Owners to accelerate business development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in renewable energy or a related industry.
  • Well connected with Project Developers, EPC/Installers, Electricity Retailers, and Grid Owners.
  • Strong knowledge of Sweden's energy market and renewable energy policies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; Swedish proficiency is a strong plus.
