Medical Device Technical Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Roche Diagnostics.
The successful candidate will be part of the Serum Work Area (SWA) within the Regional Customer Support Centre (RCSC).
The RCSC offers advanced technical and scientific support to our broad customer base across various regions.
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will deliver critical remote assistance for our SWA portfolio of instruments and reagents, along with customer education.
Your key responsibilities will involve:
- Offering technical support and resolving issues for customers;
- Providing remote assistance to field staff;
- Ensuring effective complaint management and documentation;
- Collaborating with field teams and sales managers to guarantee customer satisfaction;
- Completing specialized tasks;
- Delivering customer training in our laboratories;
- Contributing to complaint evaluation, analysis, and trending processes;
- Offering on-site support when necessary;
- Supporting sales organizations with instrument/system demonstrations and technical responses.
A comprehensive initial training program will be provided for the first six months.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Biomedical Science or a comparable scientific degree, accompanied by several years of experience in the diagnostic industry or healthcare environment.
You will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and be proficient in both English and Swedish.
Additionally, you should have:
- The capacity to analyze problems and provide solution recommendations;
- A focus on customer satisfaction and care;
- A solid understanding of contemporary laboratory practices.
This role is based in Burgess Hill and we offer relocation support from another country.
