What does the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager at Mister York entail?

You will work together with your General Manager to drive the restaurant forward to achieve set goals, including economy, employee development, cleanliness, quality, and service.

An Assistant Restaurant Manager is generally described as the General Manager's right-hand person, where you develop your skills and create opportunities to run your own restaurant in the future.

You are responsible for the restaurant's operations when your General Manager is not present.

Together with the General Manager and Shift Leaders, you are part of the restaurant's management team.

The tasks include being fully knowledgeable and assisting in the following areas, which the General Manager is primarily responsible for:

  • Optimization of restaurant operations.
  • Training.
  • Environment, cleanliness, and health.
  • Sales forecasts.
  • Inventory of goods and purchase of goods.
  • Scheduling.
  • Needs analysis and recruitment.
  • To ensure that the restaurant's product and service meet Mister York's standards.
  • Coaching of employees.
  • Financial responsibility - results and budget compliance.
  • Ensuring that the restaurant delivers on the set goals in the performance report.
