About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Development Expert to join our Wind Department as part of our global Offshore Wind Advisory team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing offshore wind energy projects primarily in Northern Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop offshore wind energy projects, applying an analytical approach and structural understanding to create innovative solutions.
  • Take on responsibility for your own deliverables, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver international projects of varied complexity and scale.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, create spatial analyses, micrositing and technical planning (GIS based), and support in carrying out approval procedures.
  • Communicate with service providers and experts in connection with wind farm development, and support in the evaluation of wind farm projects as part of technical due diligence.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in project development, consulting, or project management, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. You should have a thorough understanding of planning, project development and implementation, project economics (CAPEX and OPEX), interface management, risks and commercial aspects of offshore wind farm or other renewable energy projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; a master's degree or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Profound industry knowledge and a strong understanding of project development and implementation.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with an eye for analytical and persuasive presentations.
  • High integrity and team spirit, proactively engaging with others and offering support when required.
