COWI is a leading consulting company that provides qualified services in the area of industrial cost estimation. We are now looking for an experienced civil engineer with a focus on cost estimation who wants to take the next step in their professional development.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Cost Estimator for Industrial Projects who can provide accurate and reliable cost estimates for industrial projects. The successful candidate will have a strong grasp of project delivery phases and associated activities, as outlined in cost management procedures and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to EPCM Contractors and assistance in resolution of problems
- Co-ordinate with EPCM contractors and establish a process to accurately forecast cost upwards from construction contractors and supply vendors
- Prepare and assist the Project Manager and discipline leads in the development and delivery of written/oral presentations to stakeholders
- Coordinate the interface with stakeholders
Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of experience of cost estimating on industrial projects
- Strong grasp of project delivery phases and associated activities, as outlined in cost management procedures and guidelines
- Proficient in the application of cost engineering, estimating, and planning practices outlined in AACE and PMI standards
- Strong coordination, communication skills and influencing skills
