About the Role

Shimano is seeking a talented and experienced Digital Marketing Officer to join our dynamic marketing team in Uppsala. As a Digital Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing corporate and promotional materials for both digital and print platforms, as well as playing a key role in our digital advertising campaigns on social media platforms such as META. Your primary goal will be to create engaging content that showcases our brand and products effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the publishing of content on online and offline platforms to maximize revenue generation.
  • Maintain a high standard of imagery and product content databases, providing customers with materials upon request.
  • Coordinate well-planned and targeted content for current and potential Shimano consumers on digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Plan and deliver online and offline promotional marketing tools and materials for new product introductions and specific promotions.
  • Responsible for creating online and offline content for B2B and B2C customers, meeting market standards as well as customer and company expectations.
  • Communicate across departments and external parties to create ads, banners, in-store materials, social media content, catalogues, etc.
  • Ensure all produced and published content meets license, royalties, and copyright regulations.
  • Continuously monitor the market to discover trends and ensure we use the right tools to innovate and succeed.
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Create a content calendar to ensure frequent and maximum exposure.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar position (digital, social media, advertising experience is a plus).
  • Solid experience in Adobe Creative Suite applications (e.g., In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop). Expertise in video editing and animation is a plus.
  • Experience in running advertising campaigns on social media platforms such as META or Google.
  • You are a solution-focused self-starter with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and handle data.
  • Highly organized, independent, and willing to challenge yourself.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; other Nordic languages are a plus.
  • Tons of energy and a great team spirit are a must. Passion or knowledge of cycling/sports markets is a plus.
