Job Description

Crédit Agricole Corporate And Investment Bank (CIB) is seeking a highly skilled Receivables and Supply Chain Finance Business Development Specialist to join our Nordic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Originate Trade and Working Capital Solutions: Identify opportunities and successfully sell innovative solutions to bank clients, managing transactions from origination through execution.
  2. Expand Client Portfolio: Target the expansion of CACIB's clients portfolio in the Nordics, leveraging expertise in A/R deals and strong business origination skills.
  3. Client Advisory and Consultation: Act as advisor, consultant, and first point of contact for clients' working capital & trade finance needs, providing expert guidance and support.
  4. Client Journey Management: Manage client journey from sales to implementation, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of solutions.
  5. Relationship Development: Develop strong marketing skills and ability to develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships, driving business growth and expansion.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  1. Trade Finance Expertise: Strong expertise in A/R deals, with high motivation, proactivity, and accomplished business origination skills.
  2. Financial Knowledge: Significant financial knowledge, including working capital cycle, cash flow forecasting, financial statement analysis, and modeling.
  3. Client Relationship Management: 5+ years of experience in Trade Finance (Payables/Receivables/ECA/Doc Trade) and/or 3+ years of experience in client relationship management & development of new to bank relationships.
  4. Communication and Presentation: High level of presentation and organizational skills, with ability to develop relationships inside the organization to collaborate across geographical boundaries.
  5. Trade and Working Capital Products: Understanding of mechanics, drivers, and risks associated with Trade and Working Capital Products, as well as the competitive market and the role of technology within Working Capital & Trade finance.
Desirable Skills and Abilities:
  1. Trade-Related Qualification: Specific trade-related qualification, such as knowledge of ESG in the context of trade finance.
  2. ERP Systems: Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle/Sage.
  3. Nordic Language: Knowledge of one Nordic Language.
  4. Operational Trade Finance: Previous exposure to operational Trade Finance areas (Middle Office, Back Office, Legal) is an advantage.
  5. Trade Asset Mobilization: Experience in trade asset mobilization and other capital enhancing and credit risk mitigation techniques.
Education and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or work experience, in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Work Experience: 5+ years in Product Development, Business Development, or Trade Finance, and 3+ years in Client Relationship & Development.
