Job Title: Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team at & Other Stories. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain for our marketplace, ensuring that we have the right garments in the right place at the right time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Demand Forecasting: Predict future product demand and follow up on selling and stock forecasts to proactively identify needed actions.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure that inventory is maintained at optimal levels to prevent over-stocking or stockouts.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, including Logistics, Warehouse, Assortment, and EU Merch, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data from demand planning, inventory reports, and other resources to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Warehouse Management: Communicate and follow up with Warehouse and Logistics departments to ensure that their activities support selling and stock goals.
  • Product Management: Ensure that the right products are live on site by delivering on article creation guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and salesmanship.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in supply planning, logistics, inventory optimization, controlling, or merchandising.
  • Advanced Excel User: Advanced Excel user.
  • Structured Way of Working: Structured way of working with an overview and prioritization in a potentially complex environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to adapt communication towards different stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Team player with a curious and excited attitude towards finding and testing new ways to optimize selling and stock.
  • Love for Details: Strong administrative and coordinating skills.
