Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Identify and secure business opportunities through strategic partnerships with energy companies and industrial large energy users.
  2. Financial Modelling: Ensure accurate cost estimates are maintained and translated into business models and quotes for customers.
  3. Market Intelligence & Strategy: Conduct market research to assess market development, customer needs, and competition, providing strategic recommendations.
  4. Proposal & Project Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop tailored business proposals, project plans, and feasibility studies for key customer segments.
  5. Industry Representation & Networking: Represent Blykalla at industry events to enhance visibility and expand professional networks.
  6. Internal Strategy & Advisory: Support senior management with data-driven insights on market positioning, business growth, and competitive strategy.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; a master's or MBA is advantageous.
  • Significant experience in consultative high-tech business development and the energy sector is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity; preference for creating solutions from scratch rather than adhering to traditional methods.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, possessing strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, taking initiative to drive results; background in a startup or scale-up is beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
