About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Manager to join our Charging Systems team at Virta Ltd. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for managing sourcing from existing and new hardware suppliers and developing relationships with a variety of installation and service partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies
    • Conduct market research to analyze supplier capabilities and develop comprehensive sourcing strategies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality hardware at competitive prices.
  • Supplier Management
    • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring performance excellence.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management
    • Negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers across Europe. Prepare and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Cost Optimization
    • Continuously evaluate supplier performance and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Generate reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings achieved. Track key metrics to monitor the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.
  • Develop & Support Service Partner Network
    • Collaborate with different geographic regions and their after-sales service partner networks. Ensure alignment with supplier requirements.
  • Inventory Management
    • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock while minimizing storage costs.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Work closely with the quality assurance manager to ensure that sourced hardware meets all required specifications and standards.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement preferably in the electronics industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts with suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, written and verbal.
  • In-depth knowledge of global electronics supply chains and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and sourcing software tools.
  • EU residency and work permit.
