HR Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Operations team at Hazelight, a renowned video game development studio. This role will cover a broad range of HR responsibilities, with a focus on enhancing our work environment, strengthening employee relations, promoting diversity and inclusion, and managing compensation programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement HR Initiatives: Design and implement initiatives to create a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Employee Relations and Compliance: Handle employee relations issues, facilitate open communication, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Compensation and Payroll Management: Own compensation programs and payroll management, conducting market research to ensure competitive and equitable practices.
- Change Management and Support: Support change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Collaborative Mindset: Demonstrate a down-to-earth and collaborative attitude, where no task is too small for anyone on the team.
- Proactive and Adaptable: Proactive and willing to engage in various HR areas, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong Understanding of Employment Law: Strong understanding of Swedish employment law and compensation benchmarks.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Swedish.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently and efficiently.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
