Strategic Account Lead for Key Retail Clients

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to serve as the primary contact for some of our key clients at WorkShop, a leading retail agency in the Nordics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management and project coordination, with a proven track record of delivering high-performance results. As an Account Director, you will oversee client profitability, manage budgets, and ensure seamless delivery across all services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Client Growth & Profitability Management: Own and manage growth, profitability, and budgets for assigned clients, ensuring accurate and timely budget reporting to management.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the lead point of contact for all client-related matters across services, building and maintaining strong relationships with client stakeholders, and providing regular business updates.
  • Client Delivery Oversight: Lead and enhance delivery processes to maximize performance, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and improved margins.
  • Business Coordination: Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget, collaborating with cross-functional departments to deliver tailored execution to client needs.
  • Account Performance Tracking: Forecast and track key account metrics, including quarterly results and annual performance, ensuring performance meets or exceeds expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of account management experience, 2+ years of project management experience, and previous management experience is highly valued.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Communication, Marketing).
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to manage multiple client projects efficiently, business development mindset, and fluency in English, both spoken and written.
