Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team at Cyient. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical content for various engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write technical copy for operation and maintenance manuals, technical publications, and other documents.
  • Research and gather technical data, including drawings, design reports, and equipment specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technical personnel to ensure document accuracy and clarity.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including illustrations, parts catalogs, and e-learning content.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical authoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in technical authoring, with a focus on engineering publications.
  • Strong knowledge of technical publication tools, including Adobe Illustrator, Iso Draw, and Creo Parametric.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
