About Us

FLIR is a leading technology company that designs, manufactures, and markets advanced thermal imaging cameras and sensing systems. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounting Manager to join our team and lead our accounting function.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
  2. Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to management.
  3. Leverage accounting expertise to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
  4. Lead and manage a high-performing accounting team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in accounting leadership roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate accounting insights and recommendations to non-accounting stakeholders.
  • Experience with accounting software, such as Oracle or SAP.
