  • Develop and implement the sustainability strategy for our Professional Hygiene Business Unit, aligning with Essity's overall targets and ambitions.
  • Lead a dedicated team of professionals in executing sustainability initiatives, guiding them in creating and executing roadmaps and 5-year plans with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including eco-labeling, FSC certifications, and food contact regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and an integrated approach to sustainability.
  • Drive the sustainability agenda from a product perspective in Sustainability forums and align with product teams.
  • Build competence and guide product management teams on sustainability tasks.

We are looking for a self-motivated and customer-driven individual with a strong internal drive and ability to challenge themselves and develop within new areas.

  • Higher education (at least a bachelor's degree).
  • +5 years' experience in sustainability roles, with experience from a product management role considered a plus.
  • Couple of years of leadership experience.
  • Relevant (ideally B2B) business understanding.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in sustainability management, including third-party certifications, sustainability communication, product sustainability assessments, and corporate reporting.
