About the Role

As a Senior Business Development Strategist at FlixBus, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our global mobility solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth, expand our presence, and make a lasting impact on the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to enhance our market share and customer base.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for expansion and implement new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to negotiate partnerships, contracts, and agreements that align with our business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Strategy, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Proven track record in negotiation, partnership management, and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to make strategic decisions (Excel, BI tools).
  • Self-driven & solution-oriented – you proactively anticipate challenges and solve them.
  • Full ownership mentality – you take responsibility for your work and see projects through.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – you seek opportunities for improvement and drive results.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English (Norwegian/Danish is a plus but not required).
