To facilitate this transformation, we have established a Culture & Creative Centre of Excellence (C&C CoE) at the Group level, which will play a crucial role in supporting global brand teams and ensuring creativity and cultural insight are at the forefront of our brand development strategies.
The Absolut Group (TAG) is the Brand Company of Pernod Ricard, stewarding a diverse portfolio of 12 brands across six distinct categories. Our ambition is to become the most dynamic, global powerhouse of lifestyle spirits brands, driven by a genuine passion for progress, creativity, and contemporary culture. At the heart of TAG lies a passion for innovation, driving us to challenge conventional boundaries in the spirits industry.
We are introducing the brand-new role of Art Director, who will act as the relay of the global Culture & Creative Centre of Excellence within the TAG organization, reporting to the CEO. This new position aims to create a competitive and long-term advantage for our brands by ensuring a distinctive, coherent, contemporary, consistent, and commercially viable design ethos for each of our brands and their respective ecosystems.

As Art Director, you will play a critical role in shaping and maintaining the visual identity and expressiveness of our brands over time, across geographies, and throughout all consumer touchpoints.
You will be responsible for navigating across our full TAG portfolio, focusing on five strategic brands: Absolut, Malibu, Kahlua, Beefeater, and Altos. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and communicating the global design vision for TAG brands, well-rooted in brand DNAs, and maintaining this vision over time.
- Upholding the visual essence of our brands across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency and alignment.
- Forging strong partnerships with TAG brand teams and key markets to ensure the cohesive design direction is effectively implemented for each brand, centrally and locally.
- Seeking and establishing relationships with external creative talents to enhance the brand's visual output.
- Supporting TAG brand teams to optimize creative processes, reducing dependency on intermediaries, and leveraging direct collaborations with key talents and internalizing tasks when feasible.
- Working hand-in-hand with TAG brand teams to ensure the timely and within-budget execution of design projects, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency across all deliverables.
- Training and coaching TAG Marketing organization in design strategy and execution.
We see you as a person with strong creative and visual vision, coupled with a deep understanding of brand positioning. You have the ability to collaborate effectively, as well as the capacity to bring rigor and structure to creative processes. You possess excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling you to align and influence various perspectives.
- Master's degree in Art, Architecture, Design, or Graphic Design.
- A minimum of 15 years in a creative leadership role, with a track record in the area of design (packaging, retail, and/or communications) - preferably in an agency or a renowned brand.
- International profile, with experience in different markets and/or on a global role (a US experience would be welcome).
- English as a working language - other languages are a bonus.
- You will be based in TAG HQ in Stockholm (up to 25% travel required).
