We are currently seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors, Cost Managers, and Cost Estimators to join our team in various Cost Management roles.

Role Overview

We have multiple openings for Cost Managers to support High-Tech and Manufacturing initiatives in the Nordics. This role involves working closely with the client's Project Manager and supply chain to provide expert cost management consulting, ensuring successful project delivery.

As a seasoned Cost Management Professional, you will be responsible for establishing essential processes, templates, and tools, while agreeing on baselines for cost and schedule. Your role will include monitoring performance and managing the impacts of risks, opportunities, and changes effectively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the primary contact for clients, addressing delivery and commercial challenges while preparing comprehensive reports focused on time, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Utilizing your expertise in conceptual estimating and procurement principles to manage costs effectively.
  • Developing and maintaining cost reports that summarize financials in an executive-level dashboard.
  • Leading evaluations of project time, cost, and quality targets, applying necessary governance controls to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Facilitating planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors to create a master project/programme schedule, establishing baselines and critical paths.
  • Guiding and influencing contractors to ensure alignment with schedules and cash flow parameters.
  • Understanding procurement principles and integrating vendor lead times into the master schedule to prioritize material and equipment orders.
  • Collaborating closely with project teams to stay updated on project changes, ensuring effective communication and approvals in the change management process.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in constructing complex asset types, including Hi-Tech, Manufacturing, Industrial, Data Centres, and Pharma.
  • Proven track record in cost management throughout all project lifecycle phases.
  • Strong skills in measurement and cost planning.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and databases.
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong listening and communication abilities.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal; knowledge of Swedish is a plus but not required.
