We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team at Recipharm AB as EHS Manager. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining a robust EHS program and providing direction, oversight, and interaction of the day-to-day safety and compliance operations for our commercial biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
Main Responsibilities- Safety Program Development: Review government regulations, determine their applicability, and update or write policies and procedures in a practical way to support our site operation.
- EHS Functions Management: Manage all environmental, safety, and industrial hygiene functions, services, and resources to support our Watertown site.
- Audit and Update Procedures: Audit and update all procedures to ensure understanding, compliance, and user comprehension.
- Education and Experience: Minimum B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Safety Science, or other related scientific/engineering degree, 3-5 years of environment and safety experience required, EH & S experience in the biomanufacturing industry required.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge and understanding of laboratory safety, industrial hygiene, industrial safety principles, biological safety, and a consistent record in maturing programs and processes.
