About the Role

As a Startup Partner within Stripe, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering a strategy to build market awareness and broad use of Stripe's payments and applications platform within startup communities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and Building Relationships with key venture capital firms and their portfolio companies in Northern Europe, driving business and technical relationships to establish new business in those accounts.
  • Developing Engagement Plans for top venture capital firms, building strategic relationships with founders of portfolio companies, and executing the strategic business development plan.
  • Mentoring Startups on their overall technology and business aspects, establishing credibility within the startups and investors community.
  • Representing Stripe in the startup ecosystem, taking up speaking opportunities in startup events and platforms.
  • Measuring and Forecasting the success of your work using data-driven metrics.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong business background, enabling them to drive engagement and interact at the CxO/founder level, as well as being technically savvy to highlight the advantages of Stripe. Key requirements include:

  • 10-12 years of business development/sales or program/product management or startup/investor experience within the technology industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Ability to learn quickly, be creative, and take initiative.
  • Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional.
  • Based in Stockholm.
Preferred Requirements

Experience with and knowledge of the Venture Capital, Accelerators, and Incubators community, as well as being well-networked in the Northern European Startup Ecosystem and a regular at key startup events.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is 963,200kr - 1,444,800kr. This range may change if you are hired in another location. Benefits and additional compensation for this role may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends.
