We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled student to work on a Master's thesis project focused on model-based control of underwater vehicles. The project aims to develop and implement a model-based controller on a BlueROV, a popular platform for experimental development, and analyze its performance compared to classic control strategies.
About the Project
The main goal of this thesis is to design, implement, and test a model-based controller for an underwater vehicle. The project will involve a comprehensive literature review, setup of simulation and development environments, definition of mission scenarios, and implementation of the controller in C/C++. The thesis will be conducted both in a simulated environment and a subsequent hardware implementation.
Your Role
We are looking for a student with a strong background in automatic control, programming, and hardware. The ideal candidate should have experience in C/C++ or similar programming languages and be familiar with underwater vehicle systems. The student will work closely with our team to design, implement, and test the model-based controller.
