About the Role

Manta, a technology company providing solutions for marine autonomy, seeks a dedicated Vehicle Delivery Manager to manage the delivery and deployment of Hybrid Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUV) across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a mix of technical knowledge, project management expertise, and meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on adapting standard HAUVs to meet specific project needs.

  • Ensure all vehicles comply with quality and safety standards prior to delivery.
  • Develop detailed delivery plans, covering schedules, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates with stakeholders to provide transparency on project progress and milestones.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Act as the main point of contact during the vehicle build process, offering updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure maintenance routines are successfully carried out while in ownership of a vehicle.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance delivery processes and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to refine product features based on client feedback and operational experiences.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project or vehicle delivery management, preferably within the marine or subsea industry.
  • A strong understanding of autonomous underwater vehicle technologies and operational practices.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support delivery activities.
