Automated Wheel Bearing Fault Detection Specialist

This Master Thesis will focus on developing a software solution to detect wheel bearing issues in vehicles by analyzing CAN bus data and signals from wheel speed sensors.
The proposed algorithm will be designed to provide a more reliable and cost-effective approach to early fault detection.
The scope of the project includes literature study, theoretical modeling, and algorithm development in MATLAB, as well as validation using collected data.
C code implementation of the algorithm is optional and may be considered if time allows.
The project aims to develop a solution that can be integrated into the company's existing software platform.
Your ProfileWe are looking for an engineering student with a strong background in signal processing, machine learning, and software development.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of MATLAB, sensor fusion, and statistical modeling.
A driver's license is required, and the candidate will be expected to work independently and carry out the thesis at our head office in Linköping.
We expect the candidate to have a solid academic record and be driven to succeed.
