Position Summary

We are in search of a skilled and client-focused individual to fill the role of Consultant at SS&C Technologies Holdings.

In this capacity, you will assist clients across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific in refining their business operations by implementing and advising on technological solutions that promote efficiency and mitigate operational risks.

As a Consultant, your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with clients to deploy and sustain our technology solutions within their operational frameworks. Key activities will involve analyzing workflows, defining business requirements, configuring systems, converting data, specifying custom deliverables, conducting system tests, training users, and maintaining client communications. You will also provide insights on potential improvements to clients' technological frameworks and processes. This role is particularly suited for candidates who are adaptable to travel and enjoy engaging with diverse cultures and business practices worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality business and technical consulting services as part of implementation initiatives.
  • Act as the dedicated Implementation Consultant, managing specific deliverables or overseeing entire project deliveries based on engagement complexity.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their business needs and requirements, designing and implementing enhanced workflows utilizing the SS&C Technologies Holdings technology suite.
  • Deliver tailored user training on SS&C Technologies Holdings systems and associated business processes.
  • Assess the technology and integration landscape of clients, offering evaluations and recommendations for enhancements.
  • Configure SS&C Technologies Holdings systems in accordance with agreed specifications and client needs, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring clear expectations are established throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in strategic and service review meetings with clients as necessary.
  • Ensure all services are delivered to the highest standards, fostering client satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, addressing any service-related issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across regions to continuously enhance client service and support.
  • Work alongside our technology team and other service groups on projects to develop or modify solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong understanding of the investment management sector.
  • Relevant professional experience in consulting, asset management, or financial software.
  • Proficient IT/technical skills (MS Windows, MS SQL, MS IIS, integration tools, reporting tools, scheduling, networks, and databases).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments (stocks, bonds, funds, derivatives, private equity).
  • Postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with SS&C Technologies Holdings systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Client-oriented, team-focused, and solution-driven mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong desire for knowledge and continuous learning.
  • Effective research skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to prioritize effectively.
