About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing & Community Director to join our team at Arrowhead Game Studios. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing and community strategies to engage our player base and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Marketing and Community Efforts: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and community strategies to build brand awareness, drive player engagement, and increase revenue.
  • Manage Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with studio and game directors, production teams, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing and community initiatives.
  • Drive Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze player data and market trends to inform marketing and community strategies, and measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Develop and Execute Content Strategies: Create and implement content plans to engage players, including social media, email, and in-game content.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with players, influencers, and industry partners to build brand awareness and drive business growth.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure Arrowhead Game Studios remains competitive.
Requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in marketing and community management within the games industry, with at least 4 years of leadership experience.
  • Relevant degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with video creation/editing, podcast production, and livestreaming, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and their role in marketing and community engagement.
