About the Role

The Customer Development Manager plays a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key retailers to drive business growth and profitability. This individual will work closely with the customer to understand their strategy, shoppers, and category growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quarterly and annual net sales/margin targets by implementing mutually beneficial business plans.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the retailer's strategy, shopper behavior, and how Colgate can strengthen its brands and strategic intents within this environment.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify and optimize category growth opportunities for both Colgate and the customer.
  • Owning the input and delivery of an accurate Customer forecast volume/sales/investment through collaborative planning.
  • Work creatively with marketing and the field team to develop and implement business solutions that drive the retailer's business forward.
  • Build strong internal and external networks to deliver on key business priorities.
