Meritmind is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Stockholm. As a key member of our Global Finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our Business Area Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in line with Group and Business Area timetables.
- Populate quarterly forecasts with BA-wide cost/income relating to Common costs, Service fees, Transfer prices, and Royalties.
- Manage budget and forecast processes for management functions and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in collaboration with sister departments, divisions, and Group functions.
- Responsible for Global roles policy and maintain and update SMR financial policies on intranet to reflect changes in IFRS and Sandvik principles and procedures.
- Recognized university degree or similar in a relevant field.
- At least 5-6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in auditing or group accounting.
- Knowledgeable in IFRS, primarily IFRS 15, 16, and 9, and understand group accounting.
- Experience with major consolidation systems and larger business systems, such as SAP, Excel, and PowerBI.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with people across the business.
