About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance team in Brazil. As a key member of the Saab Brazil Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial matters, including controlling and accounting, as well as company governance and support for our entities in Bogotá and Santiago.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Saab Brazil adheres to Saab's expectations and meets group reporting deadlines
  • Oversee the Controlling and Accounting functions
  • Safeguard and enhance accounting and internal control standards
  • Ensure compliance with Brazilian laws and regulations related to taxes, customs, export control, workplace environment, and legal permits
  • Develop financial processes and systems
  • Drive continuous improvements within the organization
  • Serve as the Secretary of the Steering Committee for Saab Brazil
  • Manage external financial relationships, including local auditors, banks, and legal advisors
Requirements
  • Relevant academic background
  • Experience in senior finance roles such as CFO, Business Unit Controller, or similar positions managing teams in complex and dynamic organizations
  • Modern leadership based on Saab's core values
  • An excellent team builder with strong and proven cooperation skills
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results in fast-paced and challenging environments
  • Experience collaborating with external auditors and banks
  • Proven ability to drive change and implement efficiency programs
  • Solid knowledge of controlling in production settings
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, including Agresso, HFM, and IFS
  • Good general knowledge of audit standards
  • Extensive and successful experience working in an international environment
