Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Controller to join our central Treasury team in Stockholm. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of our Treasury activities. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining Vattenfall's financial reputation and standing in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Accounting and Reporting: You will be responsible for the monthly and quarterly closing and reporting of Group Treasury transactions, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
  • Financial Analysis and Budgeting: You will analyze and report on Treasury cash flow, financial net, and balance sheet, providing insights to inform business decisions. You will also be responsible for budgeting and forecasting Group Treasury Finance net.
  • Investor Relations and Compliance: You will provide Investor Relations with analyses and presentation material on treasury-related items, ensuring compliance with IFRS/Local GAAP rules.
  • System Development and Improvement: You will participate in the upgrade/development of the Treasury system, driving process improvements and automation.
Requirements
  • Relevant Education and Experience: You hold a relevant university degree (e.g., Business/Accounting) or comparable training, including accounting and finance. You have at least 3 years of experience working with accounting and financial controlling in a large organization.
  • Technical Skills: You have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Fluency in written and spoken English is required, with a good knowledge of Swedish.
  • Personal Qualities: You possess a blend of analytical thinking, humility, and attention to detail. You are proactive, self-driven, and capable of recognizing issues and taking the initiative to find solutions.
