We are currently seeking a Lead Product Manager to join the Angry Birds 2 team. If you are passionate about developing and enhancing free-to-play games through a profound understanding of player needs, serving as a product authority, mentoring others, and guiding the strategic vision and roadmap for Angry Birds 2 in collaboration with the Game Lead, we would love to hear from you.
Your contributions will include:
Steering a game pod through planning, prioritization, and execution of feature development initiatives. Assisting the Game Lead by providing insights on the strategic direction for Angry Birds 2. Ensuring an exceptional player experience while driving quality enhancements to business performance for both new and existing features, keeping in mind the requirements of a mature free-to-play game. Leading and mentoring the Product Craft across the studio by sharing your expertise in engagement and monetization strategies, player behavior, and free-to-play game design. Promoting data-driven decision-making by analyzing game metrics and proactively identifying and implementing optimizations to enhance business performance. Bringing an external perspective and extensive market knowledge by benchmarking competitors and identifying innovative practices and feature concepts.Desired experience and skills:
Significant experience in product management for live free-to-play mobile titles, with a deep understanding of free-to-play live operations, economic models, and game design. Proven ability to develop strategies and translate them into actionable roadmaps that enhance long-term business performance. A successful track record of creating features that improve retention, engagement, and monetization. Previous experience as a people manager and an inspiring team leader, utilizing effective communication and strong interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills and a passion for A/B testing.Interview process overview:
Initial meeting: A brief call with a Talent Acquisition Partner to discuss the role specifics and your previous work experience. Hiring Manager Interview: A discussion with the Game Lead of Angry Birds 2 to explore your skills and background, focusing on your motivations and experiences. Second round: A meeting with Product peers from Rovio to delve deeper into your business acumen, knowledge of the free-to-play market, and insights on Angry Birds 2. Final round: A meeting with the broader game team and separate discussions with the Head of Studio and our HR Business Partner to assess your leadership capabilities, potential contributions to our culture, and areas for your development.Please submit your CV in English.
