We are currently seeking a Chief Product Manager to join the Angry Birds 2 team in our dynamic studio in Stockholm, Sweden. If you are passionate about developing and enhancing free-to-play games through a deep understanding of player needs, serving as a product authority, mentoring others, and guiding the strategic vision and roadmap for Angry Birds 2 alongside the Game Lead, we are eager to connect with you.
Your contributions will include:
Steering a game pod through planning, prioritization, and execution of feature development initiatives. Assisting the Game Lead by providing insights on the strategic direction for Angry Birds 2. Ensuring the delivery of exceptional player experiences and driving significant enhancements to business performance for both new and existing features, while considering the requirements of a mature free-to-play game. Leading and mentoring the Product Craft across the studio by sharing your expertise in engagement and monetization strategies, player behavior, and free-to-play game design. Promoting data-driven decision-making by analyzing game metrics and proactively identifying and implementing optimizations to enhance business performance. Bringing an external perspective and extensive market knowledge by benchmarking competitors and discovering innovative practices and feature concepts.Desired qualifications and skills:
Extensive background in product management for live free-to-play mobile titles, with a profound understanding of free-to-play live operations, economic models, and game design. Proven experience in strategic planning and translating strategies into actionable roadmaps that foster long-term business growth. A history of developing features that enhance retention, engagement, and monetization. Previous experience as a people manager and an inspiring team leader who excels in communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills and a passion for A/B testing.Interview process overview:
Initial meeting: A brief call with a Talent Acquisition Partner to discuss the role specifics and your professional background. Hiring Manager Interview: A discussion with the Game Lead of Angry Birds 2 to explore your skills and experiences, including your motivations and success stories. Second round: A meeting with Product peers from Rovio to delve deeper into your business acumen, knowledge of the free-to-play market, and insights on Angry Birds 2.
