Job Summary

The Product Manager will support the Business Unit in developing long-term competitive strategies for the Paslode product range in the Nordic region. This involves managing a portfolio of products, providing continuous intelligence on product performance and customer attitudes, and coordinating product improvements and new product development field testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the ultimate Nordic end-market advocate within the business unit.
  • Promote the "voice of customer"/"opportunity evaluation" by visiting trades on job sites and channel partners across the Nordics to improve understanding of customer needs.
  • Develop a clear and compelling product/innovation roadmap that achieves short-term and long-term business goals in collaboration with the Nordic Product Manager.
  • Build a clear and compelling overview of jobs to be done for wood-to-wood fastening by country to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Demonstrate the ability to look ahead and anticipate future customer/market trends based on outside-in research.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent strategic marketing experience.
  • Strong IT & Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
  • Great communicator with a creative mindset that can apply an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Culturally aware with some international experience preferred.
  • Passion for product and industry.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally.
