Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team at Paul & Badran Group AB in Stockholm, Sweden. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for our clients. This role demands a blend of creativity and technical skills, with a solid understanding of design principles, space planning, and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Consultation:
    Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget requirements.
  2. Design Development:
    Create detailed design plans, including floor plans and 3D renderings, to communicate ideas and concepts.
  3. Project Management:
    Manage all phases of design projects from consultation to installation, ensuring timely project completion and adherence to design specifications.
  4. Documentation and Compliance:
    Prepare detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring designs comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
  5. Budget Management:
    Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets, sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers.
  6. Client Relations:
    Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction, addressing client concerns and requests promptly.
  7. Team Collaboration:
    Work with the design team for a cohesive approach to projects, participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  8. Continuous Learning:
    Stay updated on design trends and best practices, attending industry events and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  3. Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangements.
  4. Good communication and presentation skills.
  5. Good organizational and project management skills.
  6. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
  1. Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
  2. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under pressure.
