Job Description

H&M Studios create fashion content for H&M’s full assortment globally, such as model images, product images and video assets. As an Interior/Still life Photographer at H&M Studios you will produce elevated product images by working with the photography process from start to finish. You secure the demands of high-volume production and ensure that the result meets quality requirements i.e. there is consistency across products, angles, colours, light, and different rigs as well as follows brand direction. You will manage several productions at the same time and be expected to participate in installations, calibrations, rigging and day-to-day maintenance of the photography equipment.

Key responsibilities:  

  • Administrative work such as generation of files/folders, processing and uploading of images to server.
  • Shoot various products according to guidelines and visual direction. Could include both inhouse productions and location shoots.
  • Ensure high quality images i.e. colour correctness, light, grid, and retouch comments.
  • Ensure that photo set/station and equipment are fully functional and according to standards and guidelines.
  • Technically support/consult in the production process, take part of briefs and if needed, co-develop creative concept.
  • Collaborate and continuous dialogue with different key stakeholders. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we believe that you are organized and have an eye for detail. In addition, you are prestige less and enjoy working both individually as well as in a group. What you need to succeed:

  • Years of experience and understanding of commercial Interior studio photography, preferably high-volume production.
  • Experience of pre-production and post-production steps. 
  • Strong understanding of lighting techniques and camera equipment.
  • Fluency in Capture One software and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Self-driven and action oriented.
