Key Responsibilities- Lead the design development of products and dishes, ensuring they meet the 5 dimensions of Democratic Design: form, function, sustainability, low price, and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive creative decision-making and move projects forward.
- Manage project content, balancing vision and action to deliver high-quality results.
- Ensure IKEA's unique identity and Democratic Design are reflected in every product, across all customer touchpoints.
- Co-create with development partners throughout the value chain, from consumer to supplier.
- Identify and communicate product design development stories for effective communication.
- Contribute to creating high-performing project teams and contribute to the development of the Range and Product & Portfolio plan.
- University degree in a design discipline or product development, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Several years of experience in product development, with a focus on design and innovation.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to visualize trends, insights, ideas, and concepts in a clear and inspirational way.
