Statutory Accounting Manager

As a Statutory Accounting Manager at Philips International, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's statutory processes are compliant, effective, and efficient.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with consultancy companies to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and CIT calculations.
  • Oversee and process general ledger transactions, including accruals and corrections, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide critical data for statutory and fiscal reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Manage legal compliance processes in association with the outsourcing partner, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and complete Swedish and Finnish Principles as necessary, maintaining a high level of compliance.
  • Supply data for statistical reporting, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance/statutory, including experience with big 4 companies.
  • Relevant educational background in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial principles.
  • Practical knowledge of the Swedish and Finnish Act and Corporate Income Tax Act, as well as Transfer Pricing Local Policy.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills and SAP knowledge are preferred, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish is required, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
