Job Overview

TN Sweden is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our IT team. As a key member of our development operations, you will lead the engineering area in IT tools and applications.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the development team responsible for application development in the PLM Area
  • Responsible for application development and testing, integrations between systems, application enhancements/new functionality, process development, quality assurance, and implementation of new development project capabilities in production by working closely with the operations team
  • Overall responsible for coordinating the technical development and resource allocation between development projects
  • Driving the strategy/vision and continuous improvement of application development processes, testing strategies, and standards
  • Implementing the company global vision at the department level in accordance with business targets
  • Defining annual strategies, budget, and development plans
  • Promoting work with Health and Safety
  • Continually following up and improving processes, policies, and procedures
  • Building and developing the team and the individuals in it by managing employee training and development initiatives, as well as providing strategic direction, leadership, and coordination of the function
Requirements
  • Documented experience working with system/application development and a good understanding of IT operations and Product Lifecycle Management practices
  • Experience with complex Product Lifecycle Management Systems, especially Teamcenter applications related to Engineering and a general understanding of Software Lifecycle Processes
  • Experience as a people manager or other relevant leadership experience with personnel responsibility
  • Knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment methodologies
  • Experience in Agile project management methodologies
  • Other experience in relevant areas such as talent management, employee relations, human resources, team leading, company founding, start-up or scale-up, business administration, change management, process development, organizational management, staffing, business development, performance management, and/or similar
  • Strong communication, social, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management
  • Fluency in English, with fluency in Swedish being a qualifying factor
  • Good knowledge of DevOps and ITIL best practices
