Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Team Lead to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation.


The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for IT support, applications tools, and PLM area. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of our organization.


Your Responsibilities:



  • Manage the support team, responsible for global application support and training in the PLM Area.
  • Lead the team through the life cycle of incidents including communication, investigation, resolution, and documentation as well as prioritization of new demand requests.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage SLAs and enable efficient reporting of ITIL-based metrics.
  • Builid trust with Business customers to understand priorities and impact while tracking progress of production issues.
  • Work with Business Partners, IT Partners, Vendors, Development, and Operations teams to provide a problem-free production environment.
  • Quality assurance of new development project capabilities in production by working closely with Operations and Development teams.
  • Implement company global vision on department level in accordance with business targets.
  • Develop annual strategies, goals, and development plans.
  • Promote Health and Safety practices within the team.
  • Continually follow-up and improve processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and develop the team by managing employee training and development initiatives.
  • Provide insight and manage priorities for the team ensuring activities performance and quality goals.
  • Take a proactive approach and participate in recruiting activities.
  • Plan project staffing and adjust it according to business needs.
  • Manage employee relations and develop employee engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with the management team to develop strategic people management initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to ensure implementations meet customer requirements.
  • Plan and drive team meetings and technical meetings.

About You



  • You have documented experience working with system/application support and IT operations.
  • You have knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management practices and CAD systems (Mechanical/Electrical/plant/Civil).
  • You have experience with Teamcenter applications related to Engineering.
  • You have leadership experience and knowledge of computer systems, security, network, and systems administration.
  • You have experience in Agile project management methodologies.
  • You have strong communication, social, and interpersonal skills.
  • You are fluent in English and Swedish is also preferred.
  • You are ITIL certified and have good knowledge of DevOps best practices.
