About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Retail Manager to join our team at Retail United. As an Area Retail Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of retailers and operators representing Sony consumer products in your allocated district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Sony Consumer Products: Develop and implement strategies to promote Sony consumer products to retailers, operators, and end customers.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Ensure achievement of sales targets in your designated stores and conduct local sales days to sell to end consumers on weekends.
  • Manage Retail Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and operators, ensuring they have a deep understanding of Sony consumer products.
  • Execute Marketing Initiatives: Follow up on campaigns and activities arranged by the Field Sales Manager and create profiling value for Sony within retail.
  • Run Exhibitions and Presentations: Organize and run exhibition stands and presentations for clients to showcase Sony products.
  • Monitor Sales and Product Performance: Ensure Sony products are well-liked by store staff and follow up on sales, relationship building, and support for retailers and operators.
Requirements
  • Higher Education and Sales Experience: Possess higher education and/or sales experience with documented results, preferably within retail.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess great English skills – written and verbal – and be able to stand in front of a large crowd and present Sony products.
  • Computer Skills: Have good computer skills – Microsoft Office and CRM systems – and excellent abilities in building relationships.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible in regards to travel and overnight stays.
