About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Testing Engineer to join our team at If Skadeförsäkring. As a key member of our IT Security team, you will be responsible for conducting and participating in offensive security tests against our applications and systems.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct and participate in security testing activities to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our applications and systems.
  2. Assess the security maturity of our networks, assets, hardware, platforms, and applications from an adversary's perspective.
  3. Develop and maintain tools and techniques for security testing and attack surface management.
  4. Collaborate with development teams to address security defects and implement remediation measures.
  5. Communicate security findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  6. Participate in developing internal processes and frameworks around security testing.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Related certifications (e.g., OSCP) are considered an advantage.
  3. Hands-on experience with IT services, operations, infrastructure, and application development.
  4. At least two years of experience in security testing, including the use of professional penetration testing tools.
  5. Sound understanding of application and network security vulnerabilities, defense techniques, and security best practices.
  6. Experience with modern application development languages and frameworks.
  7. Basic scripting skills in PowerShell and Visual Basic are considered an advantage.
  8. Fluent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
