About the Role
The Global Application Manager is a key position that requires strong communication skills, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business development, application development, and customer support across the marine market.
Responsibilities
- Investigate, coordinate, and manage claim activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide daily support to customers and sales companies through effective communication and issue resolution.
- Conduct troubleshooting activities both on-site and in the field to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Develop and maintain training materials for internal and external use to enhance knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Collect and analyze market insights to inform business strategies and drive growth.
- Perform business analysis to support decision-making processes and ensure data-driven decisions.
- Ensure the Share site is consistently updated with relevant information to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist in the development of applications to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
- Monitor trends and developments in the marine industry, including fuel types, legislation, technology, and competitor intelligence.
- Participate in product- and process development projects, including prototype and concept development.
- Share application knowledge through internal and external training sessions to enhance knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Perform equipment tests both in-house and in the field to ensure quality and reliability.
Requirements
- A degree in engineering with approximately 2-3 years of working experience after graduation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with multiple interfaces.
- Fluency in English is required.
