Mynt has obtained a financial license as an e-money institution, card issuer, and payment processor from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen). We have established partnerships with leading companies, such as Fortnox and Accountor Group, to further enhance our offerings.
About the Role
As our Risk & Compliance Manager, you will report to our Chief Legal Officer and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. You will have broad ownership and mandate over our regulatory and proactive financial crime fighting activities, including managing policies and processes, developing new strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
You will work closely with our AML/Fraud team to provide them with the necessary support and expertise. Additionally, you will collaborate with our CTO and CPO to implement effective risk management strategies. Your role will be crucial in building our compliance team as we expand our business.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regulatory compliance strategies and policies
- Manage and build out the AML/Fraud team
- Conduct risk assessments and develop annual plans to address new regulatory developments
- Drive the development and implementation of risk management and compliance frameworks
- Report on the status of AML/KYC to the management team and board
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on compliance and risk-related matters
- Monitor and track regulatory intelligence
Requirements
- Academic degree in law or economics, with relevant working experience in a regulatory or supervisory financial environment or from a consultancy firm working with compliance or risk-related issues
- Experience in risk management and performing controls is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Can-do attitude and ability to take ownership of tasks
- Fluent in Swedish and English
