We are recruiting a skilled COBOL Developer to join our dynamic team as part of Team EKOT. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for both maintenance and development of our core financial booking applications. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business. Our system setup primarily consists of Mainframe applications where we play a crucial role in consolidating and reporting flows to our end consumers in Finance. The 13-member team is a multi-cultural group of highly skilled developers who work together to achieve common goals.

Our current project phase involves implementing the future roadmap, which includes integration and gradual migrations. This process presents both challenges and opportunities for growth and development.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing, testing, and maintaining COBOL programs for our financial systems.
  • Collaborating with team members to design and implement new features.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing applications.
  • Participating in agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Maintaining a strong interest in developing your technical skills in a changing environment.

  • Proven experience as a COBOL Developer.
