With a dedicated workforce of 74,000, we are committed to advancing greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities while reducing carbon emissions and minimizing reliance on cars.

Your future role

Embrace a new opportunity and leverage your expertise in type testing to ensure adherence to various railway standards and regulations for electronic products. Collaborate with enthusiastic, driven, and committed colleagues in this role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Specifying, executing, and documenting the essential hardware type tests for electronic products, including EMC, climate, shock & vibration, HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing), and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) tests.
  • Acquiring and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Providing guidance and support to BT projects with your expertise.
  • Overseeing in-house type test laboratories.

All about you

We prioritize enthusiasm and attitude over extensive experience. While we don't expect you to possess every skill, we believe the following will contribute to your success and growth in this position:

  • A degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Specialized knowledge and experience in type testing (EMC/Climate/HALT/HASS) of electronic products.
  • Strong understanding of standards and regulations relevant to electronic design, particularly regarding EMC and environmental considerations.
  • Experience in product development projects.
  • Initiative and a creative approach to testing.
  • Confidence in decision-making.
  • Familiarity with the rail industry or a willingness to learn more.
  • Accountability, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Curiosity and adaptability.

Things you'll enjoy

Join us on a transformative journey in the rail industry, where you can continuously grow and acquire new skills throughout your career. You will also:

  • Experience stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from monotonous routines.
  • Work with CENELEC standards for safety in railway products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supportive colleagues.
  • Contribute to innovative projects.
  • Utilize our hybrid work environment.
  • Direct your career in any direction you choose across various functions and countries.
  • Benefit from our commitment to your development through award-winning learning opportunities.
  • Enjoy a fair and dynamic compensation package that recognizes your performance and potential, along with comprehensive social benefits (life, medical, pension).

You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We assure you that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll feel a sense of pride. If you are ready for this challenge, we look forward to hearing from you.
