Your future role

Embrace a new opportunity to leverage your expertise in type testing to ensure adherence to various railway standards and regulations for electronic products. Collaborate with a team of passionate and motivated professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Specifying, executing, and documenting the essential hardware type tests for electronic products, including EMC, climate, shock & vibration, HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing), and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) tests.
  • Keeping abreast of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Providing guidance and support to BT projects with your expertise.
  • Overseeing in-house type testing laboratories.

We prioritize enthusiasm and attitude over extensive experience. While we don't expect you to possess every skill, the following qualifications will help you excel in this role:

  • A degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Specific knowledge and experience in type testing (EMC/Climate/HALT/HASS of electronic products).
  • Familiarity with standards and regulations relevant to electronic design, particularly regarding EMC and environmental considerations.
  • Experience in product development projects.
  • A proactive mindset and innovative approach to testing.
  • Confidence in decision-making.
  • An interest in rail systems or a willingness to learn more.
  • Strong accountability, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • A curious and adaptable nature.
