We are looking for a User Experience Researcher who will help us deeply understand our customers, ensuring our customer’s journey is intuitive, accessible, and meaningful. If you’re passionate about human-centered design and thrive on discovering what truly matters to people, this is the role for you

You will design and run studies such as usability testing, concept evaluations, and prototype assessments to inform designs. Additionally, you will conduct foundational research to explore user needs, behaviors, and expectations within the home and technology domain.

As a UX Researcher at IKEA, you will

- Lead the research and testing of digital product experiences to ensure they meet the needs of co-workers and users.
- Responsible for uncovering and filtering user insights to inform the development of products, experiences, and services.
- Collaborate closely with Digital Product Leaders, UX Designers, and Software Engineers.
- Facilitate insight-based decision-making through qualitative and quantitative data, grounded in evidence and empathy.
- Contribute to the establishment of common research practices across IKEA.

What We Expect from You:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
- A demonstrated track record of researching and testing experiences for launched digital products.
- Experience with both in-person and remote user testing.
- Proven ability to analyze human behavior through observation.
- Experience in synthesizing research results.
- The ability to present research insights in an actionable manner.
- A strong understanding of research methodologies.
- Proficiency in quantitative data literacy.
- Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

This is a full-time position based in Malmö, with occasional travel to Älmhult as required for business needs. We are actively conducting ongoing interviews, so we encourage you to submit your application without hesitation, The last date for application is 23rd Feb, 2025
