Job Description

As a Team Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team focused on creating solutions for IKEA product information to be used across the entire value chain. You’ll oversee a specific domain and your team’s development, operations, and delivery, while setting strategic direction and managing both vendors and employees.

Your main focus is to:

1. Secure a competent and high-performing team.
2. Provide thought leadership and innovation to address business challenges.
3. Lead and support DevOps and an agile culture.
4. Establish and implement common ways of working.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders, including governance, process, operations, shared service counterparts, suppliers, and other digital units.
6. Coach and guide the team with up-to-date technology expertise.

Qualifications

To be matched for this role, we believe you have:

1. 4+ years of leadership experience, with a focus on achieving results by actively involving and engaging team members.
2. A solid background in Software Engineering with knowledge of multiple programming languages.
3. Familiarity with cloud technology and an understanding of IT and solution architecture principles.
4. Proven ability to balance business value delivery with the need for business agility.
5. Experience using technology as a business tool and the skill to translate requirements into practical solutions.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening, coaching, and facilitation, with an emphasis on clear, structured, and honest communication.

Your drive and strong motivation propel you to achieve outstanding results. In our dynamic environment, you demonstrate the flexibility to adapt to changing scenarios and adjust strategies as needed.

This is a full-time position located in Malmö (aligned with our operational requirements, gatherings in Älmhult are integral to our business operation).
